1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Unseal app ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Unseal is a letter-writing app that lets you write letters to your future self, exchange anonymous letters with strangers, and participate in community letter events. The App is provided "as is" without warranty.

3. Account & Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may not create multiple accounts to circumvent limits or bans.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

Unseal offers an optional auto-renewable subscription ("Unseal Pro") with monthly and yearly plans.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
You can manage and cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings after purchase.
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of letters you write. By sharing letters publicly (community features, bottle messages, pen pals), you grant Unseal a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display that content anonymously within the App. You may not post content that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. All shared content is subject to AI moderation.

6. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Harass, bully, or threaten other users through letters
Attempt to reverse-engineer or circumvent the App's security
Impersonate another person
Use the App to distribute spam or unsolicited content

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time through Settings → Delete Account.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Unseal and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
